Susunia (Natural Tourism Spot)

This is one of the most attractive natural tourism cum picnic spot. It is located at Chhatna block in Chhatna Range under Bankura (North) Division. It is about 24 Km from Bankura town. The forest department had created nice tourism cottages with beautiful landscaping. Four family could stay at a time.(Two double bedded cottage with two room in each cottage) It is has been well connected with Railways and Roadways. Train from Howrah / Sealdah to Durgapur /Bankura is available every day. Buses also available from Kolkata to Bankura. From Bankura/ Durgapur to Susunia Buses available during the day time. It takes 5 to 6 hours from Kolkata to Susunia. Round the year natural flow of spring water is one of the centre of attraction to that site. It is one of the most used and potential place for Rock climbing, trucking and natural study walk. So many College and School students have used this site as one of the location for natural geological study centre.

Biharinath (Religions Tourism Spot)

One of the oldest religious tourism spot of Bankura District. It is situated at foot hills of Biharinath hills in Saltora block in Saltora Range under Bankura (North) Division. Six family could stay at a time (Three double bedded cottage with two room in each cottage) It is about 60 Km from Bankura town. Train from Howrah / Sealdah to Durgapur /Bankura is available every day. Buses also available from Kolkata to Bankura. From Bankura/ Durgapur to Biharinath Buses available during the day time. It takes 6 to 7 hours from Kolkata to Biharinath. The Shiva temple at the foot hills of Biharinath (serious of hills) is most divine place for any visitor. The forest department under Bankura District forest had created very beautiful cottages with green landscaping adjacent to the Biharinath Temple is paradise for the religious devotees to stay and get the blessing of Lord Shiva. It is also one of the most potential spot for trucking and natural study walk.
